How to Make the Ozil Goal AI Video
Updated
There are three ways to make the Ozil goal AI video: upload one photo to a generator and get the full 15-second clip, use the free CapCut template that swaps only your face, or write your own prompt for a video model. Below are the steps for each, plus the five beats every version needs.
Score the same goal yourself: one photo, 15 seconds, about 5 minutes.

How to make the Ozil goal video with the CapCut template
The free Ozil goal video comes from a CapCut template. TikTok creators post tutorials for it under the “Ozil Solo Goal Song” topic, and generator sites name the template “Ozilgoalai”. We have not run these steps ourselves, so treat them as the creators describe them:
- Open CapCut and search the templates for “Ozil goal” or “Ozil solo goal”.
- Pick the Ozil goal template and tap Use template.
- Choose a clear, front-facing photo of your face.
- Export the clip and post it with the trend sound.
The limit is what the template does: it pastes your face onto the original footage, so the body, the dark kit and the movement stay Özil’s, and third-party accounts put its length at about 5 to 11 seconds. If you want to be the whole player for the full run, use a generator or a video model instead.
The five beats of the Ozil goal (storyboard draft)
Every convincing Ozil goal AI video hits the same five beats in the same order. The timings come from UEFA’s official highlights of the 2016 goal, which we watched frame by frame on October 20, 2026; the AI clips stretch the move from about five seconds to roughly fifteen.
| Beat | In the real 2016 goal | What the AI version should show |
|---|---|---|
| Run onto the pass | 0–4 s: Özil runs onto Mohamed Elneny’s through ball | The player runs onto a through ball from midfield while a goalkeeper in plain white starts to rush out. |
| Chip the keeper | About 5.5 s | The goalkeeper comes off his line and the player lifts the ball over him. |
| Catch the ball | About 6.5 s | The ball lands inside the box and the player catches up; two defenders in plain green chase from behind. |
| Two sliding tackles | 8–9 s | Both defenders slide in one after the other; the player stops dead, cuts inside and both slide past on the grass. Give this beat 2 to 3 seconds. |
| Empty net | About 10 s | The player calmly rolls the ball into the empty net. |
Camera, colors and length
- Camera: a low tracking shot close to the grass that follows the player, like a replay angle. The real broadcast was a high, wide shot, which makes the player too small on a phone.
- Colors: a goalkeeper in plain white and defenders in plain green under night floodlights. That is what makes people recognise the Ozil goal at a glance.
- Size and length: vertical 9:16, about 15 seconds, so the two sliding tackles get room to read.
- If you generate the whole scene from text, ask for no club crests or readable text: video models like to invent sponsor boards. Add any caption in editing, not in the prompt.
Ozil goal AI prompt (draft)
This is a draft written from the beats above for an image-to-video model that takes a reference photo as [Image1]. We have not tested this exact prompt yet, so expect to edit it and to run several tries:
Vertical 9:16, 15 seconds, night football match under floodlights, low ground-level tracking camera following one attacker. [Image1] is the attacker: keep face, hair and clothes exactly. Beat 1: the attacker runs onto a through ball; the goalkeeper in a plain white kit rushes out. Beat 2: the attacker chips the ball over the goalkeeper. Beat 3: the ball lands inside the box and the attacker catches it. Beat 4: two defenders in plain green kits slide in one after another; the attacker stops dead and cuts inside; both slide past on the grass. Beat 5: the attacker calmly rolls the ball into the empty net.
Negative prompt, if your model takes one:
No club crest, sponsor, text, logo, watermark, real-athlete likeness, duplicated players, impossible speed, copied match footage.
What usually goes wrong, and what to check
- The ball jumps between touches. Describe each contact in order (pass, chip, catch, cut, finish) and check the ball frame by frame.
- The two sliding tackles get skipped or merged. Give that beat its own sentence and 2 to 3 seconds.
- The face drifts away from the photo. Use a sharp, front-facing photo and ask the model to keep face, hair and clothes exactly.
- Crests, sponsor text or a real player’s face sneak in. Keep the negative list and reject any take that shows them.
Add the Ozil goal song and post
The clips run over a French-language track called Clandestina. Add it from TikTok or Instagram’s own sound library rather than baking it into the file; which version to pick is on our Ozil goal song page. Label the post as AI, and only use photos of yourself or of adults who agreed.
